Have you ever checked into a hotel room so luxurious that you felt like you needed a map just to find your way around? Welcome to my experience at Berjaya Time Square Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, where I was not just a guest but a modern day Indiana Jones lost in a modern land of luxury!
From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I knew I was in for a treat. The grandeur of the place was overwhelming, and I felt a little lost in all its splendor. As I made my way to my room, I couldn’t help but marvel at the sheer size of the hotel. It felt like a city within a city.
[ But the real adventure began when I tried to find my way to the hotel’s amenities. With a wide multitude of restaurants, roof top swimming pools, and even an indoor theme park… ]
The hotel itself certainly reminds me of the grand hotels in New York city, a city scarier than the lost city of gold I once wandered into. I have got no issues with traps, rolling boulders, mummies, etc. I will not step foot in New York City. Not even with three whips and a gun.
Classic luxurious design of the old grand American hotels.
Anyway, when I finally arrived at my room, I was blown away. The room was not just spacious; it was palatial. I half-expected to find a hidden treasure chest or a secret passageway behind one of the walls. It was so big that I could have hosted an adventure party and still had room to spare!
But the real adventure began when I tried to find my way to the hotel’s amenities. With a wide multitude of restaurants, roof top swimming pools, and even an indoor theme park with loads of fun rides including a “grown up” roller coaster in it; getting lost was not just a possibility, but a guarantee.
Classically design luxurious rooms with two double beds.
I found myself wandering through corridors and down winding mobile staircases the folks here call escalators. I was seriously expecting to bump into Alice, the once little girl who went through a hole by a tree, and ended up in Wonderland.
Despite my moments of confusion, staying at Berjaya Time Square Hotel was an experience I’ll never forget. It was a journey into a world of luxury and opulence, where every corner held a new surprise and every moment was filled with wonder.
I remember once meeting World leaders in a meeting organized by the United Nations. I thought I saw the world in one place. That does not even come close to the number of different nationalities I met here. The entire planet is here.
Comfortable king beds with comfortable mattresses, and pillows.
So, if you ever find yourself in Kuala Lumpur, be sure to check into Berjaya Time Square Hotel. Just don’t forget to bring a map, a reliable compass, a proper sundial watch, and a reliably strong horse.
While I have stayed here at Berjaya Time Square a good number of times, I have decided to write this article from the eyes of someone who is from a small rural town; perhaps Sedona in Arizona, USA; in the head of Indiana Jones.
The master room (other room) of another suite that we stayed at.
The view from our suite, The Exchange 106 Tower; the second-tallest building in Malaysia and the third-tallest building in Southeast Asia. What an awesome view.
On a serious note, Berjaya Time Square Hotel is indeed a delightful place to stay at. Berjaya Time Square has lots of food, shopping for lower priced goods, and yes; the indoor theme park. The rooms are inspired by the grand old hotels of New York; Time Square to be exact.
If you have not been to New York, don’t want to go to New York, but want to experience staying in one of the grand hotels there; come stay at the Berjaya Time Square Hotel.
